     If you are a university student, you will certainly have a lot of things to do. It is important to release the stress that comes from this busy life. You don’t have to go far away to find a place where you can rest. Just look around, then you’ll get some lovely and comfortable cafés. I recommend you these interesting and unique cafés situated in Seoul.  


"Cloris Tea Garden" in Sincheon

     Let’s start with the nearest to Ewha university. This café is located between the two stations: Sincheon and Ewha University. The name of this café is “Cloris Tea Garden.” This place is professional for teas so you are able to enjoy various type of tea here. As you can see in the picture, it is decorated in a vintage and nature friendly way. Moreover, the interior ambience is also pretty cozy and amazing. There are some desserts like chocolate cakes and smoothies so you are encouraged to visit here even if you don’t like tea.

“Shneeballen” in Hongdae

Have you ever been to Germany? You don’t have to take a flight to experience a German snack. Just take subway line 2 and get off at the station at Hongdae!
In this café, it is possible to try a ball-shape snack called Shneeballen which comes from Germany. As this snack is very hard, you have to smash it with a hammer. Once your snack breaks into small pieces, you can start to eat it with a spoon. Although it is a little expensive for a snack (3500 won), it is very delicious and you can’t stop to eating it.






“Café The Bridge” in Gangseo

     The third café’s name is “Café the Bridge” in Gangseo. It is not popular but I recommend this place very strongly. There are two main reasons why I suggest this café. First, when you enter, it is completely different from other cafes. It seems like you are in a fairly tale with tables hidden in small rooms. It is very exciting and lovely.

The second reason is that its coffee cream looks beautiful. This café’s barista offers you a coffee with wonderful cream-drawing on it. You will be surprised the first time you see it and then doubly surprised when you experience its amazing taste.









“The Banana & Co” in Gangnam

     If you have already been to Gangnam, you would agree that there are many buildings so closely spaced. Moreover, most of the cafés are too small to enjoy your free time. However, there is one where you are able to breathe enough and take your time while chatting with friends. The Banana & Co is a big café with 3 floors. One special thing is that each floor has different shaped chairs and a colorful and distinctive atmosphere. Furthermore, this café offers you an opportunity to try a wide range of coffees. If you like deep coffees and if you order Affogato which is new menu in The Banana & Co, you will fall in love with it. The aroma of Affogato will you lead you to another world.



     These days, there are too many similar cafés. However, there are several places that are a little different from others. Take a break from your uninteresting lifecycle and visit these unique cafés in Seoul! As you enjoy your coffee time, these cafés will alleviate your stress. Then, kill two birds with one stone.
